Edie Kuhnle

Edie Kuhnle

Bio

Based in Montclair, NJ (and soon to be LA), Edie Kuhnle writes music in many styles. Teaming up with her sister in 1998, she started the group "Cat and Edie" playing original songs that sounded like 40's standards in Nashville, TN. Realizing she wanted to be behind the scenes instead of on stage, she ended up in NY writing for others.

Loving Europe's artistic freedom, Edie has had cuts with many Scandinavian artists such as Norwegian Grammy winner Thomas Dybdahl, Mads Langer, Maria Mena, Louise Hart and Norwegian Idol winner Kjartan.

Edie has also had cuts with Toby Lightman, Dan Dyer, Lisa Palleschi and Nate Campany. Her songs have been used in tv shows such as "The Biggest Loser" and "Eli Stone." She enjoys writing everything from big pop songs to small intimate indie songs, writing to tracks, all the while banging away on her guitar and piano.

Edie recently signed her publishing deal with Razor and Tie and is excited for what the year will bring!
