Into The Presence

Into The Presence

Bio

Into The Presence's self titled debut album is a timeless, dynamic rock record that both hints at rock's past and fits comfortably among today's best guitar bands. Drummer Tim Alexander (Primus, A Perfect Circle) and frontman/guitarist Luis Maldonado (Glenn Hughes, John Waite, UFO) used artists such as Queen, Led Zeppelin, Jeff Buckley and Pink Floyd as touchstones for the group to create moody and sweeping music. The band's debut album is full of enduring rock songs that transcend time. Cellist Ana Lenchantin and her sister Paz Lenchantin provide bass for the album. Influenced by the innovative music of the 70s, the tracks play with a vintage vibe. Also contributing to that old-school feel is the fact that none of the music is digital, everything was recorded on tape. The debut album will be released in 2009 and the band will do a string of east coast residency dates this spring.
