Female rapper Young B (a.k.a. Bianca Dupree) was only 16-years-old when she and DJ boy-wonder Webstar took the classic cold remedy, chicken noodle soup, and turned it into a New York City club smash. “Chicken Noodle Soup” took Harlem, New York and eventually the entire country by storm, inspiring countless YouTube tributes along the way. Webstar and Young B’s independently released debut album was quickly snatched up by Universal and in August of 2007 the label released 12” of the single to give to DJs.
